About

Hi, my name is Beth Wilke. I’m 55 years old, have 5 grandchildren, and I’m blessed with an abundance of health and energy unlike anything I experienced in my earlier years.

This was not my condition prior to exchanging the Standard American Diet (SAD) for the raw food diet. Before I was 25 I had my tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and uterus surgically removed. Between then and age 49 I experienced several accidents (breaking several bones in one leg and injuring my back and neck) and suffered through 3 years of dizzy spells. Then in my late 40’s I was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. The doctor’s prognosis: I would be crippled and bedridden within a year. Their recommendation was I increase my pain medication, take some additional prescription drugs…………and wait.

I was unhealthy, afflicted with a degenerative disease and I wasn’t even 50!  I looked ‘normal’ to everyone else.

Having seen the horror of someone afflicted with this disease I decided I would do everything/anything I had to do to push the inevitable away! There was no family history of anyone else having this condition so I could rule out hereditary causes.  Therefore it had to be something else.  Remembering my experience with dizzy spells and how I was finally able to be free of them by removing processed foods from my diet, I decided to begin my fight through my diet. My research into foods and their effect on the body intensified. I tried numerous diets (e.g. high protein, low carbohydrate; low fat; vegetarian; macrobiotic, and eventually vegan). It was while I was eating the vegan diet I discovered the raw food diet. I had already been experiencing a greater level of health and a little success with managing my arthritis through the vegan diet, but the idea of eating ‘live food” (food filled with unprocessed, living digestive enzymes and nutrients, e.g. vitamins and minerals) made sense. My desire to achieve a higher level of health and eliminate the pain in my body was an obsession. I never dreamed making this change to raw food would have such a dramatic result!

At age 55 I am pain free and I feel amazingly ‘ALIVE’!!! I’m up every morning between 2-3:00 a.m., rested and energized. I dropped unwanted weight and I’m stronger, have more stamina, am more flexible and have more energy than I ever had in my 20’s! My self-confidence skyrocketed. I left the secure comfort of working in a corporate world for an independent career in residential home appraising (State Licensed as a Residential Home Appraiser, Builder, and Realtor). Urged by friends, family, and numerous others, I started teaching and lecturing about raw foods and quit my work as an appraiser. Raw-For Life is not only my company name, but is also my destiny.

My mid-life crisis of poor health has opened new doors ……….a new career, new opportunities, and a life filled with vibrant energy and excellent health!

My mission is to share what I’ve learned about the raw food diet/lifestyle with other health seekers – share what I’ve learned, habits I’ve formed, techniques, tips, and education.  Knowledge is key to success.  If you want what other people have, learn from them, be with them, do as they do………….then you too can experience the same SUCCESS.

My Motto: Cultivate life, live simply, relax, enjoy and celebrate life with passion!  Bon A Petite!
